What is your organisation's name (for companies: as registered with Companies House)?

Section A1: Your Company  ·  Cyber Essentials Montpellier

Danzell clarified the question to distinguish registered name from trading name where they differ.

What this question is really asking

This is the legal or trading name that will appear on your Cyber Essentials certificate. Use your full registered name — if you trade under a different name, clarify this with your assessor. The name must accurately identify the organisation being certified.

What to prepare before your assessor visit

Assessors verify this against public records — Companies House, the Charity Commission, or equivalent. A very common pitfall is using a trading name rather than the legal registered name; if the certificate name doesn't match the register, questions will follow. Equally, organisations that have recently changed their name sometimes use the old name out of habit — double-check the register before you fill this in.
