Can IASME and their expert partners contact you if you experience a cyber breach?
What this question is really asking
Consenting here allows IASME and scheme partners to contact you if you experience a cyber breach. This is voluntary but strongly recommended — certified organisations who experience incidents can receive early warning and incident support from the scheme.
What satisfies this requirement
Yes or NoOpt-in only. Email security@iasme.co.uk if breach occurs. Information kept confidential.
What to prepare before your assessor visit
This is one of the few questions that genuinely and directly benefits the applicant. The cyber insurance associated with CE can be triggered in the event of an incident, and scheme breach support depends on your consent to be contacted. Saying yes here is strongly in your interests — the downside of an occasional contact is minimal compared to missing out on incident support when you need it most.
